Sean-Josahi Brown is a passionate documentarian capturing heartfelt stories of hope and resilience in marginalized communities. Born in Harlem, New York, his filmmaking journey began when he met a single mother raising six children in a shelter, inspiring him to film their story. This project earned him the 2021-22 Bronx Documentary Center Film Fellowship for his debut short film, EBONY. EBONY world premiered at the 2023 BlackStar Film Festival, 2024 IFF Boston, and NYC’s Rooftop Films. The film also shortlisted for the 39th IDA documentary awards.
